About Me
I am a one-person shop operating in Baselland, Switzerland. I've been building with wood for well over 50 years. I retired from a long career in IT in 2025 and decided to "keep busy" doing mostly custom projects.
My wife and I were lucky enough to find an old farmhouse / barn to restore and live / work from. Part of the barn had originally been a shop building farm equipment-- wagons, plows, etc., so it is a perfect place to work in and has gorgeous views of the Jura mountains.
Custom Designs
I don't plan to work in volume, but rather to produce items which need to be "just so" and are by nature one-offs. "Just so" can be the size, the style, the wood, or simply something no longer commercially available as is the case with certain window sashes.
